In Memoriam

Randi Jones, honored member of North Olmsted Community Council, passed away November 18, 2019.

Randi was named 2013 Citizen of the Year, and held almost every Office in NOCC, including President.  She was perhaps best known as the Chair of the annual Homecoming Parade, working tirelessly to organize and coordinate that huge event.

She was President of the North Olmsted High School Alumni Association, a boy scout leader, and a North Olmsted hockey mom. Randi touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by family, friends, and her community.

The purpose of the North Olmsted Community Council is to provide a forum for the exchange of information between member organizations and the promotion of overall community activities. It is noncommercial, nonsectarian, and non-partisan. North Olmsted Community Council shall serve it’s membership by the provision of networking services, promotion of community events and hosting recognition or award ceremonies which strive to spotlight member organizations.

North Olmsted Community Council gives back to the community annually by way of scholarships and funding projects to improve the North Olmsted Community Park for our citizens.

The North Olmsted Citizen of the Year is recognized for contributions and services rendered to the North Olmsted Community.

Congratulations to Ken Neuzil, who was named the 2019 COTY at the annual banquet on April 25th.

The annual Homecoming Festival is the premier event sponsored by NOCC.  Four days in August the Park is transformed into a midway with food, rides, amusements, music, and more!

Come and join other philanthropic and non-profit North Olmsted organizations as we combine our forces to support our great city.
